drove Arthur and Geo out to LAX last wednesday morning for their trip to Outbreak 7 and Florida, decided not to take the freeways back home since morning traffic can be essentially equated to that of the Devil’s ***hole.
it was a new perspective of LA that morning.. being that 1) it was MORNING and i was actually up and 2) sometimes i think about getting away from the city so much that i forget it has its moments as well. overlooking the city, i felt almost as if i was watching the city “wake up”. in downtown, what began as a seemingly swift trickle of cars headed to work transformed into a gleaming river of metal and glass visible from my vantage point. the sounds of cars, trucks, and even airplanes flying overhead gradually became somewhat overwhelming as the city awoke from its slumber.
need to slow down, take time, make time.
