i think the hardest thing sometimes, is to overcome these emotional factors, and emotional appeals and the tugging of one’s heartstrings. of course this is a great cause, of course something should be done, of course bad guys suck. i will be the first to admit that right now, i am being critical but am offering no immediate solution (something i’m actually trying to change on a more personal level).
i’m all for raising awareness, i’m all for spreading a positive movement… but i also want need to know the whole picture. and sometimes, we have to take the effort to find out for ourselves what we honestly and genuinely believe in, instead of the oversimplification and vague summaries that happens all too often in the millisecond moments within modern day social media.
